Continuous hitting foul: During a volleyball match, any part of a player's body can touch the ball, but if a player (except the blocker) hits the ball twice in a row or the ball touches different parts of his body in a row, it is a continuous hitting foul. However, during the first hit, the player is allowed to have the ball touch different parts of his body in the same hitting action.
Holding foul: During the game, any part of a volleyball player's body can touch the ball, but the ball must be hit and cannot be caught or thrown, otherwise it is a holding foul.
Four hitting fouls: If a team touches the ball four times in a row (except for blocking), it is a four hitting foul. Whether a player hits the ball actively or touches it passively, it is counted as one hitting by the player.
Hitting foul with assistance: If a player hits the ball with the support of his teammates or any object in the competition venue, it is a hitting foul with assistance.
Players' fouls near the net
Players' fouls near the net include hitting fouls over the net, crossing the center line, touching the net, and crossing under the net into the opponent's space to hinder the opponent's game. Touching the ball in the opponent's space before or during the opponent's offensive hit is a foul. During the game, if a player's entire foot, hand or any other part of the body crosses the center line and touches the opponent's court, it is a foul. During the game, it is not a foul for a player to touch the net or the marker pole. However, it is a foul for a player to touch the net or the marker pole when hitting the ball or interfering with the game. After hitting the ball, a player can touch the net post, the net rope outside the full length of the net, or any other object, but it must not affect the game. During the game, players are allowed to cross under the net into the opponent's space without interfering with the game. If a player who crosses under the net into the opponent's space interferes with the opponent's game, it is a foul.
Simultaneous hitting
Players of both teams or players of the same team can touch the ball at the same time. If two or more players of the same team touch the ball at the same time, it will be counted as two or more hits (excluding blocking). After players of both teams hit the ball at the same time on the net, if the ball falls into the court, the game should continue, and the team that gets the ball can still hit the ball three times.
