1. Field area: The competition field should be rectangular, with a length of no more than 120 meters or less than 90 meters, and a width of no more than 90 meters or less than 45 meters (the length of the field for international competitions should not be more than 110 meters or less than 100 meters, and the width should not be more than 75 meters or less than 64 meters). In any case, the length must exceed the width.
2. Line drawing: The competition field should be drawn with clear lines according to the plane drawing, and the line width should not exceed 12 cm, and it should not be made into a "V" shaped groove. The two longer lines are called sidelines, and the shorter ones are called goal lines. A line across the field is drawn in the middle of the field, called the center line. A clear mark should be made in the center of the field, and a circle with this point as the center and a radius of 9.15 meters is drawn, called the center circle. A flat-top flagpole with a height of no less than 1.50 meters should be erected at each corner of the field, with a small flag on it; similar flags and flagpoles can be erected at least 1 meter outside the sidelines on both sides of the field facing the center line.
3. Goal area: On the goal line at 5.50 meters from the inside of the goal post at both ends of the playing field, draw a 5.50-meter-long line perpendicular to the goal line into the field, one end is connected to the goal line, and the other end is a connecting line parallel to the goal line. The area within the scope of these three lines and the goal line is called the goal area.
4. Penalty area: On the goal line at 16.50 meters from the inside of the goal post at both ends of the playing field, draw a 16.50-meter-long line perpendicular to the goal line into the field, one end is connected to the goal line, and the other end is a connecting line parallel to the goal line. The area within the scope of these three lines and the goal line is called the penalty area. Make a clear mark at the midpoint of the two goal lines 11 meters into the field, which is called the penalty point. With the penalty point as the center and a radius of 9.15 meters, draw an arc outside the penalty area, which is called the penalty arc.
5. Corner area: With the intersection of the sideline and the goal line as the center and a radius of 1 meter, draw a quarter arc into the field. The area inside this arc is called the corner area.
6. Goal: The goal should be set in the center of each goal line. It consists of two upright goal posts 7.32 meters apart and at the same distance from the western corner flag, connected by a horizontal crossbar with the lower edge 2.44 meters above the ground. To ensure safety, both fixed and movable goals must be stably fixed on the field. The width and thickness of the goal posts and crossbars should be symmetrical and equal, and should not exceed 12 cm. The net is attached to the goal posts and crossbars and the ground behind the goal. The net should be properly propped up to allow the goalkeeper to have sufficient space to move. The material of the net is allowed to be made of hemp, jute or nylon. Nylon rope can be used, but it must not be thinner than hemp or jute rope.
